DIN-100 Modbus Analog Input Modules

The DIN-100 analog input modules measure DC voltages, 4-20mA, temperature sensors, load cells and frequency. The analog input modules provide an isolated 15-bit measurement, analog to digital conversion and a linearized data output. The data values are scaled as 16-bit unsigned integer values that represent a percentage of the full scale input range. The values are read using the Modbus RTU serial protocol through an RS-485 serial port.
The DIN-100 series include discrete digital input and output modules for sensing contact closures and controlling annunciators or solid-state relays. The digital outputs can be pulled up to +30Vdc and sink up to 100mA without damage. The discrete digital inputs can accept +/-30Vdc signals without damage. The discrete switching levels are <+1Vdc = logic “0”, >+3.5Vdc equals a Logic “1”.
The DIN-100 Modbus I/O modules are compatible with all commercial software programs and OPC servers that support the Modbus RTU protocol. Commercials software programs from Wonderware, National Instruments LabVIEW, and Dasylab all support the Modbus RTU protocol.
The DIN-100 series is designed to be mounted on the industry standard DIN rail.
